Since the start of April businesses with an electric powered vehicle have been entitled to free parking permits, thanks to a Hackney Council policy of promoting green vehicles.
The boost for business owners of 'green' vehicles mirrors the chance last year, which offers the saving to resident permit holders.
Business applicants can also benefit from a 25 per cent discount on the cost of a parking permit for vehicles that are powered by alternative green fuels such as LPG, LNG or hybrid/dual fuel.

ハックニーではグリーン・カー推進キャンペーンの一環として、今年４月から、事業で使われる電気自動車の駐車料金が、一切無料になったんだそうです！すごいグッド・アイデア。不動産業に限らずですが。特に、車の駐車場代がたくさんかかる不動産やさんにはありがた〜いキャンペーンなのではないでしょうか。電気自動車を買い揃えるのは、高い出費かもしれないけど、この政策を知れば今から買う分だけでも、電気自動車にしよう、と思えそう。

エコ推進、その地域の経済活性もかねた一石二鳥の政策。ちゃんと住む人のことを考えている感じがします。さすが！！まつども、他の都市でも、そういった政策が増えていくとよいですね。
